Jim Horn, presented "The Law, The Players, and The Game" to the Emerald City Alumni Club on June 13, 2008.  Update your knowledge with a very interesting presentation about what's currently happening in Transportation in the Puget Sound region.  Some of the facts may surprise you.  The presentation has been split into 2 parts for easier download: Download Part A (pdf file, 16 pages)   Part B (pdf file, 16 pages)

 

Goran Sparrman, Director of Transportation for the City of Bellevue, presented the Downtown Bellevue Transportation Plan at the May 20th ETA Membership Meeting.  Download a copy to find out what Bellevue is planning for the future!


 


ETA presents "East King County - A Better Transportation Plan," based on research by James MacIsaac  April 2008.  If you don't read anything else, read this report.  It may surprise you and everything is verifiable!

 

 

 

At the 4-22-08 ETA monthly meeting, Katy Taylor, Director, Public Transportation Division of WSDOT gave a presentation on "Moving Washington" with highlights of WSDOT's demand management programs.   You can find more about the Commute Trip Reduction Program (CTR) and see the 2007 CTR Board Report here:  http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/TDM/CTRInterimReport07.htm

 

 At the 12-18-07 ETA monthly meeting, Michael Cummings presented the latest data about transportation in the Seattle/Puget Sound area compared to other cities in the US.   Click this link to find how Seattle compares to 8 other cities: Destination 2030 Update (pdf file, 36 pages). It may change your viewpoint.
